Topotronix uses a secure payment system designed to protect both buyers and sellers during transactions.

When you purchase equipment on the platform, your payment is held securely until the transaction conditions are fulfilled.
This ensures that sellers only receive funds after the equipment has passed inspection and the buyer has had the opportunity to verify the item.


How Payment Works

1. Checkout

When you place an order, the total price is shown at checkout.

The total amount includes:

  • Item price

  • Platform service fee (if applicable)

  • Shipping costs

  • Taxes (if required)

Payment is processed through our secure payment partner on behalf of the seller.


2. Secure Transaction (Escrow Protection)

Once payment is completed:

  • the funds are secured and held temporarily

  • the seller is notified to ship the item

  • the equipment is sent to the Topotronix inspection process

The seller does not receive the payment immediately.

This protects buyers from paying for items that do not match the listing description.


3. Inspection & Delivery

After the seller ships the item:

  1. The equipment may pass through inspection

  2. The item is shipped to the buyer using tracked delivery

  3. The buyer receives the equipment

During this time, the payment remains protected and secured.


4. Buyer Inspection Period

After receiving the item, the buyer has 72 hours to inspect the equipment.

The buyer should verify:

  • condition of the item

  • included accessories

  • compliance with the listing description

  • functionality

If no issues are reported during this period, the transaction is completed.


5. Payment Release

After the inspection period:

  • the item is considered accepted

  • the payment is released to the seller

This system ensures fair transactions for both sides.


Refunds and Payment Protection

If something goes wrong during the transaction, the payment protection system applies.

Refunds may be issued if:

  • the seller fails to ship the item within the required timeframe

  • the item fails inspection

  • the item does not match the listing description and the claim is approved

In such cases, the buyer will receive a full refund.


Accepted Payment Methods

Topotronix supports secure digital payment methods through its payment partner.

Depending on your location, available payment methods may include:

  • Credit and debit cards

  • Bank transfers

  • Digital payment solutions

All transactions are processed using secure encrypted payment systems.


Currency and International Payments

Topotronix supports international transactions.

Key details:

  • Prices are displayed in the selected platform currency

  • Payment may be processed in another currency depending on the payment provider

  • Currency conversion may be applied by the payment provider or issuing bank

Buyers should check with their bank regarding possible conversion fees.


Taxes and VAT

Taxes depend on:

  • buyer location

  • seller location

  • transaction type

In some cases:

  • VAT may be included in the price

  • VAT may be calculated at checkout

  • import duties may apply for international shipments

The buyer is responsible for applicable import taxes.
